Roster’s Results

Not all about the chickens…that’d be rooster…

Well deep into the season and the Synergie supported athletes have been on the road again, racing locally & Internationally.

Johnny went up to Sunderland to race at the WTCS Triathlon and to mingle with the triathlon superstars. Unfortunately a mechanical ended his day early, we can only control the controllables, so it was just one of those things.

Next he had the Blithfield Sprint, that was also the English Champs but having spent the last few weeks working on Standard distance endurance, his top end speed was a little bit blunted, finishing 6th in his age group. Don’t worry Johnny is back on his speed work before he heads to Shropshire.

Exams were Leo’s focus, that said his early season racing has stood him in good stead, as he is 3rd in the South Central Regional Series.

Livvy has also been racing the Regional Series & chasing Inter-Regional Selection. Livvy finished 17th at the race in Chichester and was 5th at the Eton Dorney open water triathlon. Currently Liv is 2nd in the Regional Series.

Roger kicked off his season at the Salty Dog triathlon, not the easiest race to start with. A choppy sea swim, followed by a challenging & hilly bike course before a run on sand…main thing is that Roger enjoyed himself, finishing 5th in his age group.

Sophia was out at the World Sprint Championships in Hamburg, racing for GBR once again, finishing 32nd in her age group.

Stuart was looking to open his campaign at IM Copenhagen, re-visting a race he did in 2022. A PB in the swim set the race up well and he felt he was comfortably fast on the bike before 2 punctures in a short space of time meant a lift back in the broom wagon.

Di & Scott want to welcome Dan & Hadis to the Synergie Coaching supported roster, that means we currently have a full complement of athletes from 13 years upwards, with five females & four males.
