Alex focus this season has been the World Championships in Wollongong in October and was using the Bournemouth race as a sharpener, test event to make sure things were good before travelling to Australia.

Given that was the main purpose of the race, Alex only went and qualified for the 2026 Europeans in Tarragona, Spain being held in June 2026.
