Alex & Ryan were out at this one.
Sunday 3rdJune saw a beautiful day at South Central’s 3rd series race of the year down by the River Thames at Shiplake College Henley.
The open water swim element of the Triathlon was held in the Thames for all age groups, this the organisers first time in using this venue, the event was a great success.
Ryan was up first and opted for not wearing a wetsuit, those who did got off to a flying start and it wasn’t until they turned the buoy to head home that Ryan took the lead, solid bike and reasonable run saw Ryan take the win.
Alex too opted for a none wetsuit swim and again exited the water with the fastest swim time of the day, two or three good bikers made their way past Alex on the tough bike leg backed up by some very good runs leaving Alex 5thon this occasion, she did though enjoy the race and the whole experience.
