2026 Commonwealth Games

Scott has been selected as one of the coach mentor’s for Team Scotland’s 2026 Achieve Programme, where he will be supporting 3 coaches that Team Scotland has identified as having the potential to lead their sports in upcoming major Games.

Having been a volunteer on the Triathlon Information Desk at Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002, Scott worked as the London 2012 Olympic Games as part of the Triathlon & Cycling workforce, before being appointed as one of Team England’s Triathlon Support Coaches for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Upon hearing that he had been selected as one of the six mentors that will support the 17 coaches in the Achieve 2026 programme, Scott said, “It is a privilege to be part of a coach’s journey and humbling to think that others believe that you can support them on that journey. I have experienced the energy and the expectation that a Home Games brings and I am obviously excited about the opportunity to be around and learn from the coaches I am supporting.”
