| Why Triathlon | In 1993 Kev James was boring people to death, "Triathlon this" "Triathlon that" and he challenged me to do one. I couldn't swim, didn't have a bike and didn't like running. |
| First Race | So in May 1994 I did my first race, Littledown Triathlon. It took me 15 min and 43 seconds to "swim" 16 lengths,, a guy on a mountain passed me and said "It's quiet at the back isn't it" I was 96th out of 97 competitors. |

| At school I was | Accomplished but lazy. I have a good memory so would only do enough to get by. However we did have a great sports department |

| Most embarrassing moment | Being an extra in a stage production at the Royal Academy and wetting myself whilst on stage. I was only 9 or 10 at the time |

| Greatest fear | Two really, either going blind or being wheelchair bound. Both pretty selfish but..... |
| Who most like to meet and why | Dali Lama, saw him in Paris at the Amnesty International Concert and just got the impression that he was talking straight to me, not the masses |
